Spicy Caveman Drumsticks
We love anything hot, spicy or makes your mouth feel like it’s on fire! Here’s a recipe today, we’ve prepared this mixture this morning to marinade and it will be ready for this evening’s dinner! Yummy!
- Organic chicken drumsticks
- apple cider vinegar
- ground black pepper
- garlic cloves
- ginger root
- garlic powder
- crushed red pepper
- pizza seasoning
- 1/2 yellow onion
- olive oil
- coconut aminos
(Eyeball Everything! – the cavemen never had a measuring cup!)
Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar and some olive oil
Then add some Coconut Amino’s
Then chop half of a yellow onion and grate some FRESH ginger root, (note: Fresh ginger has a very strong flavor, so you won’t need to use a lot!
Next add in some Sriracha Hot Sauce! Sriracha is the best brand to use because it does NOT have High Fructose Corn Syrup – yuck!
NEXT! The spices, we have a special home made blend of dried jalapeno’s from our garden we call our “Homegrown.” It’s super spicy and our favorite flavor on many dishes!
Next we added in some Frontier Organic pizza seasoning, fresh black ground pepper, garlic powder, crushed red pepper,
Add a splash of water!
Add in the onion!
Mhm, in goes the ginger!
Slice the garlic thin!
Make sure to rinse your chicken before placing into a ziplock
Then put chicken into bag and pour mixture over.
Also, make sure all the air is removed from the bag before sealing!
Lay down, and place in fridge, flipping every few hours until ready to be cooked!
