July 2018: Mike Cantone

What brought you to Fit Body Transformations?

I was in the middle of a challenge. I realize this is the type of gym I was looking for. I like that there are coaches that help you and show you the proper form and movement of each workout. I like the group and TRX workouts. It’s like a family and team. Every coach and member is always there to help you stay motivated.

What are your goals?  I want to get as many workouts per week as I can. Stay fit. Continue to eat healthy. Get educated on nutrition and fitness. Maybe become a coach someday.

How do you make time to workout?

I start Sunday by meal prep for the week. It saves time. I eat on my commute to and from work. I put my gym clothes in my car, so if I run late I don’t have to go home to get my clothes. I don’t run errands after work I run errands after workout. I schedule my workouts.

What do you enjoy about Fit Body Transformations?  The coaches are awesome. I can schedule a workout or just do open gym. Everyone is friendly coaches and members. Loud and good music always playing.

What has been your biggest challenge since starting at Fit Body Transformations?

Coordinating my workouts with my work schedule, my wife’s work schedule, and my sons school schedule. I would get a workout in if FBT is open on Sunday. Friday and Saturday FBT closes too early. I would do my open gym at 5 in the morning, but I have to be leaving the gym at 6 take a shower then leave my house to go to work by 6:30. 

What do you do in your spare time when you’re not at Fit Body Transformations?  Work. Play and teach my son sports, homework, go for walk or run. Clean. Watch 9:00 news.

How do you stay motivated?  Schedule my workouts. Eat good.

What’s your favorite quote?  Kill them with success and bury them with a smile.

If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?

I would call myself here I am man. I would atomically time travel transport myself from place to place. I would save so much time. My alarm clock would go off then right to work. From work right to the gym. From the gym to my house. It would save so much time.

May 2018: Karen Foynes

What brought you to Fit Body Transformations?
I wanted to become as healthy as possible, from the inside out.

What are your goals?  My goals are to eat as clean as possible and to be in the best shape of my life.

How do you make time to workout?  I make it a priority and schedule it in my planner. 

What do you enjoy about Fit Body Transformations?  From the moment I first met Coach Crystal and had a my first class with Coach Jen, I knew FBT was what I had been looking for. Everyone was so kind and encouraging.  

What has been your biggest challenge since starting at Fit Body Transformations? My biggest challenge is not getting there as much as I’d like. Because of my work schedule I usually work out 3-4 days. I would be thrilled if it was 4-5 days .

What do you do in your spare time when you’re not at Fit Body Transformations?  I like to spend time with my family.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by keeping my focus on the end result. A happier, healthy, fit mother and grandmother.

If you could have any superpower, what would you choose? My superpower would be to cure cancer and stop bullying. be way cool.

February 2017: Becky Sand

What brought you to Fit Body Transformations?
I drove by everyday on my way to work and saw the sign out advertising a Summer Special and a posting on Facebook and figured the universe was trying to tell me something.

What are your goals? Get stronger, increase endurance & lose weight.

How do you make time to workout? I keep a change of clothes in my car, I make sure I have a game plan for dinner post-workout, and I remind myself how much better my brain and body will feel after I workout even after a long day!

What do you enjoy about Fit Body Transformations? Support from the FBT community.

What has been your biggest challenge since starting at Fit Body Transformations? Fitting workouts into a busy work week.

What do you do in your spare time when you’re not at Fit Body Transformations? Cook, read, play outside.

How do you stay motivated? Every month I can feel that I’m getting stronger and I find that I am able to do things I couldn’t do just a week before.

If you could have any superpower, what would you choose? Granting three day weekends!
